His fingertips rubbed at morethe smooth surface of the vial for several moments before he discarded the container in the garbage, letting it join eleven others of its kind.

The sound of a police siren drifted in his open window, cutting through the soft sound of the rain pelting the district’s streets. The blue and white washed over his face as the faint memory of fingertips ghosted over his skin, sending shivers through him. The agent’s hand glided over his own shoulder and to the side of his neck as he applied pressure to the sore muscle, recalling the scent of the musky police cruiser, the cold metal exterior against his bare hips, and feel of rough, needy hands exploring his every angle and curve.
